CHATEAU PUY BOYREIN 2016
Wine Country: France
Wine Region: Bordeaux
Wine Appellation: Graves
Grape Variety: Bordeaux White Blend

Château Puy Boyrein was originally part of a larger winery – Château Boyrein which is situated right between Sauternais & Graves. The Médeville family has been restructuring the property for three generations. It consists of 55 acres of vineyards planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon and Muscadelle.
The grapes for the red wine are fermented in temperature-controlled, stainless steel tanks, and the wines then remain in underground tanks for 15-18 months before being bottled after a light fining and filtration. The 8 hectares of vines of Château Puy Boyrein are located on the commune of Roaillan between Garronne and the vast forest which runs along Atlantic sea.
Brilliant and clear, pale straw color. Citrus notes on the nose with hints of lemon and grapefruit round and supple on the palate. A good persistent bouquet.
